Re: Updated AIMCOR Safety and Wellbeing Policy
The COVID-19 pandemic has now reached every state across the country and is affecting millions of our fellow Americans. Your AIMCOR EIG leadership is dedicated to upholding our responsibility to lessen the risk for everyone and has implemented the following updates to our Safety and Wellbeing Policy to protect the wellbeing of our employees, customers, and partners.
Effective immediately, all previously communicated safety precautions have been extended through April 30, 2020. This includes the following:
• The cancellation, or postponement, of all non-essential business travel for all corporate and regional personnel until further notice. Information pertaining to the travel advisories can be found under the CDC’s guidance for travelers website.
• The requirement for any employee experiencing symptoms of any illness, or who have been in contact with anyone that is sick or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 to remain at home under self-quarantine for no less than fourteen (14) days and notify their direct field manager immediately upon recognition of any such event.
• Any personnel not designated as a lead location executive is instructed to work remote practicing social distancing at all times until further notice.
• Increased office protocols to ensure lead location executives are provided as healthy a work environment as possible and operating in compliance with the CDC’s interim guidance for employers recommendations.
Our efforts over these next thirty days will be vitally important to the safety and health of all of us. These steps are designed to protect our employees, members, clients, and partners. It’s our hope that the steps we collectively take will also have a positive impact in helping our fellow Americans across the country prevail against this pandemic as we all play a role in stemming the spread of COVID-19. It’s in these times that our priority must be toward the health and safety of ourselves and our loved ones.
As we receive more information we will continue to provide each of you with regular updates as to our approach based on the most current recommendations being provided by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, and other authorities.
In the meantime, our corporate team continues to work closely with our partners across the industry to identify, and deliver, new technology and resources across our organization aimed at arming each of you with the necessary tools to continue business operations and prosper into the future.
