Re: Updated AIMCOR Safety and Wellbeing Policy

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve on a daily basis impacting everyone’s life across American, the AIMCOR EIG leadership continues to remain diligent and committed to upholding our corporate, and individual, responsibility towards lessening the risk for everyone across our organization.

First introduced on March 9, 2020, and updated March 31, 2020 our Safety and Wellbeing Action Policy is designed to protect the wellbeing of our employees, customers, and partners. Our action policy is designed with three operational phases; respond, recover, and resume. Today, we continue to operate within the parameters of phase one (respond) while we thoughtfully develop our strategy for phase two (recover). With a number of states across the country moving towards into a phased re-open, we plan to provide recommendations for returning to more “regular” operations over the next few weeks when appropriate.

In the interim, we are extending our current safety recommendations through May 31, 2020 which include the following:
• The cancellation, or postponement, of all non-essential business travel for our corporate team along with the recommendation for our members and regional offices to implement similar guidelines at their local level. Information pertaining to the travel advisories can be found under the CDC’s guidance for travelers website.

• Extended requirement for all employees experiencing symptoms of any illness, or those who have been in contact with anyone that is sick or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 to remain at home under self-quarantine for no less than fourteen (14) days.

• Any personnel not designated as a lead location executive are instructed to work remote from home practicing social distancing at all times until further notice.

• Increased office protocols to ensure lead location executives are provided as healthy a work environment as possible and operating in compliance with the CDC’s interim guidance for employers recommendations.

As we receive more information we will continue to provide each of you with regular updates as to our approach based on the most current recommendations being provided by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, and other authorities.

It’s in these times that our priority must be the health and safety of ourselves and our loved ones. While we know this has been an especially challenging time, we continue to be encouraged by the developments being made across the globe to preserve humanity and ask all of you to continue doing your part make a positive impact in helping our fellow neighbors prevail against this pandemic while protecting the safety and wellbeing of you and those around you.

Stay healthy and stay safe.
